CBD oil appears to have added to its list of potential health benefits. New research by the Addiction Institute of Mount Sinai shows that CBD oil given to heroin addicts significantly reduced cravings.
CBD oil, already known for its benefits of reducing anxiety, reduced cravings of participants in this study who had an average of 13 years use and who were not on other medications, such as methadone.
Participants using CBD had an impressive two- to three-fold reduction in cravings versus the placebo group.
Encouraging to see options out there that are good for the sufferer.
